xInfinity

Album Cover | 2018

As a personal project in 2018, I redesigned  Watsky’s xInfinity album. As a limitation I used primarily photo collage save for the smaller text and icons that are required to be on an LP. The intent was not to improve the existing album, but to recreate it with my own interpretation.

The rose, one of the central themes of the album, takes the forefront as an homage to the fragility and preciousness of life. It lays on a crumpled piece of notebook paper with a scan of my own handwriting, representing an artist’s perseverance to continue said life.
